As you all know, I’m in Mikkel Paige’s CT for January, I still have to finish some more LOs for my CT teams and actually my mojo is still down. My head is blank and I have no idea how to start my other LOs. I don’t want to fail these nice designers. Anyway, Mikkel has nice things on her shop, try and visit so you can see for yourself. Here’s my take on her Winter Chill Kit and Tile Alphas.

God bless.

My Aunt and her family from Illinois always go on a royal caribbean cruise almost every year. They always go back from the trip raving about how wonderful the trip was as if they had experienced it for the first time. I always wanted to try to go on a cruise for a well deserve vacation but doesn’t have the money to do so. I always think that they are too expensive, that we can’t afford it but my Aunt says otherwise. I hope we can go on a cruise with her family someday.

I don’t believe much about this but thanks Alpha, I had fun knowing I have nice horoscope for this year! :)

Our parents after having just a girl and a boy in the family decided that they still want one more child so after 6 years they’ve decided to have our sister, that’s her in the picture with my brother who is just a year younger than me. My sister left for a very important exam and a very crucial one that will decide her future. She flew out of the country to experience winter with just her colleagues, her first time to travel without her family in tow. Being the youngest and the baby of our family, I am just being sentimental that indeed our baby sister is very grown up. I miss her though I know she will still be coming back after 11 days, the house is not complete without her. But of course, I hope she does very well on her interview and examination even if it means she will be staying there for good if so. She really wants this so much and I hope her dreams will come true. She will be coming back on the 13th and will wait for the results here.

So, while she is not at home to watch over the babies with their nannies, I’ve decided to take a leave from the 7th to the 11th. We’re uncomfortable leaving the babies with just their nannies in this big house. They might go up and down the stairs, watch television without permission and just being out of focus with their duties, the nannies are so immature and young and we believe they really need supervision. So after my Holiday break which was last Friday, I still have 1 more week to stay at home and be with my son and my nephew. Heaven. Oh btw, did I tell you that Dustin already has a tooth almost out and another one coming? He never had signs of teething, except for the drooling which is not too much. I discovered the tooth last December 21, our Christmas party at work, I had to feed him biscuits using my fingers when he suddenly bit me. It was blissfully painful. My son is really growing up! :P Happy Sunday with your family! God bless :)

Did I tell you that aside from being so low tech regarding techie stuffs and hospital equipments, I also hate our hospital’s structure aesthetically? The structure looks old and office furniture are not very pleasing to the eyes. If I am just the boss, I will have a proposal to make a 2-floor building where all the departments will be together and will have the furniture replaced, have the equipments up to date and the technology high tech so that the place will be pleasing not just for the patients but for the employees to have more enthusiasm to work and serve.

Saw this from Jean’s and Alpha’s blogs so I wanted to snag this…

Yes I know, I’ve been married for two years now and honeymoon was way over and done that deal for me and the hubby and we have in any way, no plans of having a second honeymoon, no plans of having our second baby… Please! But someone very close to me is getting married this year and honeymoon apart from preparing the wedding and the wedding itself is very exciting to think of and I thought that going to Cold Michigan is a very suitable place for honeymooners. The temperatures can really cool down but everything can heat up especially if you are staying in one of those Michigan bed and breakfast inns, hotels can be very expensive and sometimes unromantic compared to those romantic, historic and homey places that b&b’s can offer. Definitely will suggest this to my dear best friend, as adventurous and exciting as she is as a person I bet she will definitely consider this.

I made this birthday invitation for my nephew’s first birthday. Time sure flies too fast… Look at the faces, how he has grown to be very handsome and very intelligent, I may add. *proud tita grin*… Anyway, I want a similar invitation for Dustin when her turns 1 this March. Including pictures from birth to 11 months is a great idea, that way, families and friends will have a keepsake too. Anyway, here’s the invitation and I’m happy that my brother and my SIL were happy with the outcome.

I always think that we don’t only learn things around the four corners of our schools. We have to go out, meet some people, see the sites to know more about people, cultures, traditions and places. If Dustin grows up and will tell me that he has to go to a student travel, I will gladly allow him to join. Schools should be updated and keep in touch with companies like, Hemisphere Educational Travel, offering educational tours around the world designed specifically for students. They should know companies like this that provides quality educational travels with custom package modification such as Ethnic,Religious or focus tours, Handicapped students, meals for participants with special dietary needs and bilingual guides for foreign students. They even offer travels that are really affordable which is one of the best offers hey can give so that parents like us will have our children experience quality education without hurting our budget too much! :)

I met up with my High School Best Friend, Mitch at Starbucks McKinley Hill. I haven’t seen her for ages and when she texted me out of the blue, I knew I had to see her, a lot has been going on in our lives, I am so busy with my family and her being recently engaged to her long time boyfriend are enough reasons for us to meet while drinking my favorite drink, coffee! The last time I saw her was in June, during Dustin’s baptism, she is one of the Ninangs of course! I was happy that she suggested to meet up at McKinley Hill which is a 5-minute drive from our place. Dustin and his Nanny in tow. I was very glad we went there. Side kwento: My son was so friendly at Starbucks. The Baristas were enthralled by his presence and they were all playing with Dustin since they don’t have customers that time, only us. They thought Dustin was a girl and was so surprised to know that he is a “he”! :) We were surprised that he wasn’t crying and was in fact smiling to strangers. Just mighty proud of my son, he is growing up to be really friendly. Anyway here are some pictures…

with my pretty best friend, Dustin’s Ninang Mitch

I should really take dieting seriously! Yay! This is what happens after drinking too much frappuccinos. Double chin and big arms? Kamusta naman kayo dian? LOL. :P

With his Nanny

and this day is also special because… Guess what I got after 20 frapps, 24 stickers and a 2 day-double your stickers chance?

The Golfer Bearista was given by my cousin and Dustin’s Ninang Aileen for Christmas

Another View of My Prize by being So Caffeine Addict

Hay… SO excited to fill this with just about everything!

One Fine Friday…

My very first Entry

I was snapping pictures of the Planner on the floor and when I stood up, I realized that my boy was already awake, I think this was around 5-ish in the morning… Look at his expression, wondering what I was doing on the floor! LOL. :)

And I am not the only one who adores this Starbucks Planner…

My son chose to play with the planner instead of my cellphone which he loves to play with… That’s my Boy! ;)

God bless :)

I’m Mikkel Paige’s Guest CT this January!!! So excited.. Danielle Young also extended my membership on her CT for 3 months… more responsibilities of course but in it will be M-O-R-E FUN! So excited to work with their creations… I just hope that after the Holidays, my scrap mojo will be back real soon! Please click on their blinkies at my sidebar to view their amazing products!!!

God bless!!! :)

We opened the babies’ gifts around 7 pm, they were already grumpy and hungry by 6 pm so after feeding them their dinner and dressing them for some photo ops, we marched downstairs and sat under the tree to open the gifts.

Dustin looked so excited opening his first gift.

The boys wearing their jackets, Tita Jhes’ gifts… So ready for HK this December. :)

We were so happy (the moms) upon receiving these loot essentials for the boys, their formulas, baby food, vitamins… from their Pops and Mama Lola.

A bit blurry… the gang minus the babies, feasting our Noche Buena… :)

We spent Christmas Day with my husband’s family and relatives at Las Pinas City, he brought the dslr alright but forgot the mmc! Yikes… Now I have no photos to post for our Christmas Day celebration :(

Did you know that you can learn the piano on the internet? I used to study piano lessons when I was a kid, my mom hired a piano teacher to teach my brother and I. It was fun but we never got to continue it since life became hectic and our studies were our first priorities. Now I can refresh my memories about piano by subscribing to a free newsletter that has Piano lessons & piano chords, they also sell full-blown piano courses on DVD for adults which are mentioned in the newsletters, but there is never any obligation to purchase them. What a great way to refresh my memory and maybe when Dustin grows up and has the interest in Piano, I will have him read all the newletters… Great!

I have less opps these days… Please leave a comment on how I can increase my opps… I have yet to save for our planned trip this December… Now I am having second thoughts of putting up a photo blog since I may not have the money to maintain it… :( Help!

I have TONS of photos to update my Holiday posts and here is part 1 of the series of our Christmas and New Year’s celebration!

We basically lazed out around the house morning of Christmas Eve. Watched television at the attic and watched planes that took off and landed that day… Our house is near the airports, btw. Anyway, I had the chance to snap photos of my son, my nephews and their fathers playing around the attic so I just want to share them with you and some Holidays kwentos on the side, of course!

Dee had this idea of wrapping the babies in a make up sling and help them walk.

Son looks so grown up. His Daddy testing the sling.

My Brother did the same thing with his son Ethan.

Then my SIL and I decided to dress up the babies for an early Christmas Eve opening of gifts for them since they sleep really early and they probably can’t wake up for the Noche Buena.

My Nephew

Wearing his Carter’s bonnet.

Love this snapshot by my husband of my brother and my nephew playing around.

Will be leaving you with these most precious photos of this entry.

My son borrowed his cousin’s baseball hat and tried it on. My brother and my Husband played around giving Dustin this, “don’t-mess-around-with-me-hiphop look”. It is so cute! Look at his expression, as if he already knows what they wanted him to do.

God bless. :)

I LOVE cars. I used to drive really fast when I was young. Going 80 to 100 in EDSA and then again maturity tamed me. But my love for cars didn’t change probably because I have a brother who grew up practically like my twin since he’s only a year younger than I am. If I win the lottery, I’d probably have a Chrysler for luxury and have it pimped with the latest Chrysler 300 accessories, starting with the chrome grilles, big wheels with really nice chrome mugs, put HID conversion kits, body kits and have the maximum sound and have the interior all set up. So you see, cars aren’t just for “the boys”. A girl could also dream! :)

I can’t believe this is the last day of 2007! I was not prepared of a finished LO with a New Year greeting so this will be so plain and simple as I am very much busy these days…

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I wish all the best for our families this 2008! More blessings, the best of health, happiness and contentment throughout the year!!!

God bless us and our families!!!

Cheers!

TOFFEE NUT FRAPPS!!!

I regret trying this a bit late, the “nut” in its name didn’t appeal to me since I’m not so much of a nut fanatic but Hubby suggested that we try another Christmas Special from Starbucks and since this is the only flavor we haven’t tried yet, I obliged and after my first sip, I LOVED it right away. The coffee taste isn’t too strong, more of a caramel-ish flavor, as per my taste buds say. :)

I even got 4 stickers after this little trip at Starbucks with the husband last Thursday lunch! Second time I had the chance to double my stickers. :)

I got the first item on my wish list this Christmas… I know this is a fast forward post since I still have my Christmas Eve photos and kwentos to share but I’m just happy to fill you in about this and THANKS to my Dear Husband!!!

The Mango Limited Edition Watch that I always admire whenever we pass by EDSA every single day. I was indeed surprised! With our without the watch I still love you to bits Hone! BUT I am so happy you gave me this, of course!!!

We were waiting inside the car while my parents did the marketing at the Tagaytay Market when I got hold of the cam and snapped some photos including this one.

Hubby drove to and from Tagaytay all the way back to our place…

I’ve decided to organize the names tonight while my son is already in deep slumber while the husband generously allowed me to use the laptop so I took advantage and after writing so many names… I asked Dee to draw the winners.

Thanks Dear Friends!!!

… and the winners are…

My $5 Winners

and MY $10 Winner is….

Congratulations! Sa uulitin, hope you girls join my RAKs again in the future.

To my Winners, please leave a message here regarding your choice of RAK… A GC to any Digital Shop of your choice or the money goes to your Paypal Account?

God bless. ;)

I’ve decided to put up a Photo Blog next year but I still don’t know where to ask about the hosting. I am looking for some cheap subscription for about a year and easy to install templates where I can personalize my blog easily. I love WordPress right now since it has templates that I can change without using codes that I could never understand. Anybody who can tell me about their host, I’ll be very happy to hear suggestions from you. Thanks Ladies. God bless. :)

Okay, I forgot to include this to my previous RAK post - my mistake- sorry, so to all my friends who left comments from the start of the RAK to Mich who posted last on my “Out of Town Trip before Christmas” post, will all have entries. I promise to really organize the names and announce the winners soon. Right now, I have to attend to my son as I’m now in another Nanny dilemma and I will have my Holiday break starting tomorrow so I hope my son will be a trooper so I can slowly write your name per each entry. Sorry for the delay! Thanks for all my online friends who left me some love! :) Enjoy the rest of the holidays!!! :)

December 22, 2007, Saturday. We had a short but happy trip at Tagaytay. It was tiring but very memorable since it was the first out of town trip of the 2 baby boys… they were troopers… It was hot and humid that day, so the jackets we bought weren’t used. Darn! Anyway here are some photos of the trip.

at Pink Sisters Convent (We attended a healing mass… We didn’t know about it, Thank God for the good timing… Thank God for our healing! :) )

Love this Family Photo, I’m just Proud of my Talented Husband

Brother and Sister flashing their best RayBan Mow-del poses! Goofy! :)

It was all trees and very nature-ish inside the convent but the Husband opted to have our family photo outside behind the BIG sign :)

This was after our lunch at Leslie’s, our teddy boy looked so satisfied with the food!?! NOT. He was just happy I took off his “pandong” from his head.

Be leaving you with this Angelic Face… Looks so contented eating his Marie biscuits I brought for the trip while we, the adults pigged out at Leslie’s Tagaytay.

God bless. :)
I have no idea what my husband was pointing out the window but it sure must be very interesting for our teddy boy to look outside. Taken at the attic while we spent the Christmas Eve morning lazing out around the house with my family!
